Virtual theater in the metaspace

This is a daring adventure in the realm of practical magic.

We are creating theatrical performances in the virtual spaces using real actors wearing motion capture suits.

What's so magical about it?

Firstly, any imaginary world is magical because you never know what will happen next. It's an undiscovered land driven by the fantasy of its creators. The audience faces the imaginary world as a puzzle that needs to be solved. The first shot of a movie or the initial scene in a theater makes you wonder - what is this place? Who are these characters? As soon as you load a new game, you ask yourself - what can I do here? Isn't it magical to travel from a planet of apes to a planet of... psychic raccoons in a blink of an eye?

Secondly, a virtual world is coded to the last pixel. So you can legitly expect anything that can be coded. Any interaction that you can imagine can be performed here at will. Take the moon from the sky and hide it in your inventory to place above your hero cabin on the mountain of the Great Buff. Or transform it into a chunk of cheese with a spell.

What is left of a theater behind this hexery?

When you compare theater to other media, strip it off the common features and try to get its main point, you get to understand that theater is about the intimate connection, a live wire that connects an actor and a spectator. The two strangers cast away normality, practicality and suspicion, to support a phantasy world together. An actor is only acting if there is someone to watch it. And spectators too need a helping hand to lead them into the wonderland.

This intimate connection is the nature of theater.

And this is the core of our virtual experiences.
